On February 15, a meeting of the Expert Council of the Open International Competition for development of an architectural concept of the Galiasgar Kamal Tatar State Academy Theater will be held, co-chaired by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalia Fishman-Bekmambetova and Director of the Galiasgar Kamal Tatar State Academy Theater Ilfira Yakupova.

The Expert Council includes representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan Urban District, and creative unions, as well experts in the fields of architecture, urban planning and design of the urban environment, culture and theatrical arts, urban anthropology, cultural studies, art management and inclusive programs, and actors of the “Theater of the townspeople”.

The Expert Council provides consultations and expertise during the competition. The experts will consider the Competition Proposals, which will be presented in person by the Finalists, and will prepare their recommendations for the jury members.
